Pierre Boisson, Meursault Blanc Vintage:2013 There is more than enough Zaca Mesa Vineyard Viognier & Rousanne There is more than enough precision the middle weight flavors possess a sleeker and more refined texture that is aided by the abundant dry extract that buffers the firm but not rustic tannins shaping the impressively persistent finish Reduction presently dominates the nose though there is good energy and freshness to the attractively welldetailed flavors that possess a distinct lemon zest component on the slightly lean and linear finish I suspect that this will flesh out with a few years of bottle age and it will probably need it to become approachable as the citrus character is borderline bitter
